~Acting on the slogan “Leave no one behind” (SDGs)~

­(Aim of Seminar)

With the increasing number of natural disasters in recent years, it is necessary to think about disaster prevention that allows everyone with disabilities to feel safe and secure. Therefore, through this meeting with people with disabilities from mainly Asian countries, let’s listen to individual voices and think together.

Listening to the voices of people with visual impairments, hearing impairments, and physical disabilities and others, additionally their families and supporters from more than 10 countries in Asia-Pacific region, then share them with meeting participants.

In response to the increasing number of natural disasters in Asia, we will consider measures to work together with stakeholders from the international level to the local level to address the issues faced by persons with disabilities and disaster prevention that everyone can feel safe and secure.
